Is it worth it to pump and store breast milk to give to the adoptive family of my baby?
I decided to place my baby for adoption. The adoptive family lives about an hour and a half away and I'm interested in pumping and freezing my own breast milk in baggies to take up to them whenever possible. Is this worth it?
...And when I say worth it, I meant because they live so far away. I would be afraid of spoiling. I live in Arizona and the baby is due in March. It's gonna be hot.
Of course it's worth it, your body knows what to produce to make that baby strong. Good for you to take care of the baby even though your not keeping it. Breast milk helps the baby build it's immune system up and fight off colds and small things like that. It also helps the baby's brain develope and eye sight and motor skills. Its best for the baby.
