Rudds Stimulus Package - How can cash handouts be a good option?
Last month Rudd's Government handed out $10b in cash handouts as an economic stimulus. Even if all this money had been directly spent (which it appears it hasn't) surely this just gives a boost to retail sales for 1 month and then the economy returns to its previous state. Rudd is now looking at more handouts. Can someone please explain how is this a good use of our money?
