How many is still considered "rare"?
I have a collection by Harmony Kingdom and I am looking at adding a few pieces. They deal all over the world and One Piece I am thinking of has 5,000 in the set. Is this considered rare, or is this too many? What do you consider a good number in a set to define it as rare?
'Rare' in the world of collecting anything, antique or made now for sale, would be: for old stuff: just a few surviving after wars, looting, accidents, and so on. I don't think 5,000 in a new edition of anything can be considered rare. Sounds more like a marketing ploy, as 'Limited Edition' should be the proper term. And maybe just 200-500 a real limit.
