How much are limited dolls really worth? Is it worth to get one?
I'm asking this because I like this expensive 20 dolls limited Doll From souldoll.com, which is also a Ball Jointed doll likes those asian dolls. However I don't know if its worth pay like 610 including shipping to buy it. Is it worth it? Is it worth to get a Limited Edition doll when you like it so much?
Will it be worth something 10 years from now or at least have the value you bought it in Good Condition?
Action figures/dolls are collectible for the rarity of the figure or it's availability or it's custom features. What you're talking about is called 'speculating' on collectibles. It's kind of like those silver coins or plates you see sold on t.v. that the SAME company tells You Are now selling years later for 5x or 10x the original price. You're risking on something you have no assurance about; what you need to do is buy or collect something you like or want simply because it makes you happy.
Don't buy anything when you're not able to spend the money freely, or would worry about getting a return on your investment. Just enjoy the thing you collect and IF they become worth something they're worth something. If not you're just gonna have a box full of items that you're waiting to SEE if they become more valuable or not. After all, what will you do with them if there's NO return on your investment?
