the picture is really derogative. the biography of all four are very superficial.
It doesn't scare me, I'd say I am more irritated by it. I wouldn't be horribly upset by it if my daughter came across the site on the internet. I'd use it as a teachable moment and explain why I think the image of the doll is demeaning. There are many things in society which are frightening; drive by shootings, work place violence, drug use etc. I'll deal with being irritated by the message these dolls send by just not buying one.
